No TV Influence

Today was a fabulous day. Bean wasn't too fussy this morning so I decided to take a chance and hit up Monday Morning Moms. Bean was fabulous. Peanut on the other hand... she wanted to do things her way and was not happy to realize that she needed to share.

We talked about how we are the influence in our child's life and how to be a good inspiration for our children. We discussed how Deborah was an influence for 40 years and to imagine being an influence like that!

One of the visiting moms there was talking about how they just gave up TV! I talked more in depth with her about that and she stated how much more things she was able to do around their house. So, I decided as long as the girls are awake, we will only be watching one hour of TV per day. Peanut was a bit miffed but she ended up taking an almost 3 hour nap today. Too bad Bean didn't want to as well. At least she wasn't near as fussy today. But I think I'm getting an ear infection now.

I made lactation cookies this afternoon which are yummy!!! And I tried a Nw recipe for dinner that I wasn't a huge fan of. Oh well. I'm going to bed early in hopes to get some sleep to have energy to knit and play tomorrow!

April's Almost Done!

Bean didn't sleep well yet again. She was extremely fussy so on RoBrotz' suggestion, I skipped church (again... boo) and took her in. Turns out, she has her first ear infection. Poor girl. No wonder she only wanted to be held up and didn't want to lay down or crawl around. I felt like a zombie by 2 after we dropped RoBrotz off at the airport. Peanut was a good girl this afternoon, thankfully! I got photos of her modeling my shawl!
